Thematic exhibition ‘Karel Loppens – Tribute to a pioneer’

Starting 21 June at the Abbey Museum.

This thematic exhibition focuses on the work of Karel Loppens (1875-1962). He conducted groundbreaking research in the fields of natural sciences, history and archaeology in our region.

Indoor VR experience ends but outdoor 360° VR images remain

The indoor Virtual Reality experience ‘Ten Duinen @1490’ was decommissioned on 13.09.2023. The high cost of updating the hardware and reworking the interactive VR experience launched in 2017 was the deciding factor in making this difficult decision. However, the online 360° images from the VR experience remain available, and can be seen outside on the abbey site by scanning a QR-code.
