This thematic exhibition focuses on the work of Karel Loppens (1875-1962). He conducted groundbreaking research in the fields of natural sciences, history and archaeology in our region. During the interwar period, he succeeded in relocating the abbey complex of Koksijde, which had been buried under the sand.
